This software has been developed by the Health and Safety Laboratory on behalf of the ART consortium with financial support from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), the European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic), the Dutch Government, the French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health Safety (ANSES), The European Association of Metals (Eurometaux), Shell, GlaxoSmithKline and the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS). The software remains the intellectual property of the ART consortium.
ART is still at the developmental stage and whilst the ART consortium has endeavoured to ensure that the results given by the system have been checked as to accuracy, with regard to a number of scenarios, no guarantee of accuracy is given. Nor does the ART consortium or any of the organisations that funded development of the tool, in production or marketing of the system give or assume any warranty or condition, express or implied, statutory or otherwise, as to condition, quality, performance, merchantability or fitness for the purpose of the system and all such warranties and conditions are hereby excluded save to the extent that such exclusion is absolutely prohibited by law.
You are strongly advised that the system should only be used by a competent individual who is already familiar with the established concepts of occupational exposure assessment to which the system relates and with the current assumptions against which the rest should be checked.
